Most pet adoption campaigns make us feel pity for the animals but in this one it was the dogs that did the rescuing. The Human Walking Program (Melbourne, Australia) took dogs that were up for adoption and let them take office workers for a lunchtime walk.
Helpless dogs that need to be saved, but maybe it’s us who need to be rescued. A series of events where we took shelter dogs and let them rescue city workers. We changed the way the people see shelter dogs. Over 5000 office workers were rescued, and every single dog was adopted.
